Red and White Close Range Target

I have been having to shoot at very short distance... 8 yards... for a number of days in a row now. Can't even open the garage door. The rain just won't let up. Yesterday we were in a Target chain store, and they had some flyers out for employment applications. They had a nice big red and white target on them and I thought, "Boy, that'd be nice to shoot at..." so I brought a couple home and played with them on the computer. I ended up with a nice, vivid three ring red and white target 4" in total diameter. As I processed the image, it prints out 2 on an 8 1/2" sheet of printer paper. I'm "scoring" them 5 - 3 - 1, which makes it very challenging (for me) at even that distance, since anything out of the center ring drops two points, and anything more than two inches from center is a no-score. Possible is 30 for a 6 arrow round, and i ain't done that yet! I did have three 5's on one bull once, though.

I also processed one at a larger size, single bull to a page, to shoot from my other driveway position, which is about 13 or 14 yards. 'Course, till the water goes down, I can't try that.

Shooting at the tiny bull will, I think, sharpen me up, which I can certainly use... especially after today. I don't know what I did to my body yesterday or this morning, but man, I couldn't shoot for sour apples today, and yesterday I was popping little red bullseyes steadily. Oh, well

Anyway... here is the small target. I'm hoping that if you want to try it, this image will print out for you the same as it does for me. I made two copies the right size and put them together on a Word document, making a two bull target, perfect for shooting three arrows at each bull to make a six arrow round. I can print them out on manilla art paper as I need them. The target should be four inches across the bull. You may have to play with the size a bit for your particular printer.
